Sweet Home Alabama

Gulf Shores

We stayed at , a beautiful, historic building in Mobile, Alabama.
I loved the gorgeous art deco inspired rooms and the hotel had just about everything I needed!
The best part about the hotel is that they harvest their own honey and you can see the bee hives on the roof (yay to sustainable bee keeping!) They use the honey for the restaurant downstairs which has amazing farm-to-table dishes and drinks!

Mobile, Alabama was bursting with Southern Charm and an amazing food culture!
I jet-skiied across the gorgeous beaches along Alabama's Gulf Shores and explored Dauphin Island with . The white sands and moody clouds leftover from the tropical storm was so cinematic!
We watched all the lightning from my favorite restaurant in Alabama called The Gulf as the thunderstorm rolled in. The restaurant is constructed out of shipping containers and located on the beach so you'll experience the dreamiest sunsets.
Thank you to  for allowing me to experience Alabama and the shores of the Gulf of Mexico!

A much needed getaway to the colorful cities of Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita.

Morocco Diary

Morocco has been at the top of my list for a while and visiting Marrakech was such a dream!
Surrounded by beautiful vibrant colors and 24/7 mint tea, it was endless inspiration. I brought back Moroccan rugs, handmade leather poufs and spices from the Souk. I didn't have enough days to go to other parts of Morocco but I definitely want to come back for the Sahara.

Jardin des Tuileries

Nasty Gal distressed sweater, Zara thigh high boots, beret

Getting lost in the dreamy Jardin des Tuileries in Paris. Still in a daze of how gorgeous this city is and feeling like I'm stuck in an indie french movie isn't so bad. I've been spending my days stuffing my face with the cutest pastries at La Grande Épicerie and crepes at local stands.

A round up of my adventures in New Mexico. I stayed at the beautiful Native American inspired hotel, . Filled with Southwestern decor and designs like the rest of Albuquerque, the hotel had the dreamiest aesthetics that I felt was in unison with my personal style. I stayed in the Artist Room which has different art installations by emerging Native American artists in each room. It almost felt like sleeping in a mini gallery. My favorite place to hang out in the hotel was probably in the adorable teepee by the pool area. I love that the hotel aims to celebrate Native American traditions and cultures while supporting the community. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Albuquerque and I highly recommend those traveling to the city. It's super affordable and you get an authentic non touristy vibe of New Mexico.

Endless Summer Down South

Brandy Melville Mary Tank, eBay Jacket, Urban Outfitters Hat, Acne Pistol

I kept it casual for a day exploring the deserts in Arizona. The sight was an endless sea of enormous Saguaro cacti. I've been really into lightweight military jackets lately because it's the perfect amount of coverage for the temperature here without being too bulky. Different colors like powder blue look great on the style as well. I layered a bohemian coin necklace to give the outfit some texture.
Can't go wrong with cutoffs and a statement necklace!

Urban Outfitters Peter Pan Collar Romper, Vintage Shearling via Crossroads, Acne Pistol

I love peter pan collars because they're such subtle statement pieces. They're also so versatile and I can wear them everywhere. The winters have been super unpredictable (Hello snow in Cali?!) so I paired the romper with thigh highs and my current favorite Acne Pistols. When the temperature drops at night, I just throw on a heavy shearling coat.
Thanks for the continued support and Happy 2015 to you all!

Forever 21 Sweater Dress, Jeffrey Campbell

Getting witchy with my current favorite piece in my closet. I love how simple this dress is and the eyelash lace hem adds a touch of winter goth. I accessorized with a wide brim hat and a bolo tie like chain necklace all from Forever 21. It's getting colder now (I know 60 degrees is nothing for most of you but spoiled Californian here) so cozy dresses that are easy to wear like this are a definite staple for my winter wardrobe.
